Achieve TV Style Live Streams for your clients with Just Smartphones!

In today's world you don't need big camera crews to produce quality results.  You can use smartphones!  Smartphones have great cameras and wonderful microphones built-in that will aid in creating an excellent live stream. Plus, they're connected to the internet everywhere they go which makes them portable camera rigs without the expense of on-location professionals!  This brings a level of quality to your clients that was not available previously.

Here's what you need for successful remote live streams with us.

You need 4 ingredients for a successful TV style live stream

Smartphones with cameras and Internet Connection

All smartphones have internet connection and cameras these days.  You don't need expensive phones.  You just need something that has a decent camera.

Tripods

Nobody wants to hold a phone for the duration of a memorial service.  A few simple tripods make life easy.  You can get tripods on Amazon for as little as $16.

Wireless Microphone, Optional

The secret to getting great audio is to position the microphone as close to the person speaking as possible. The easiest way to do this is the sit a small wireless microphone on the podium or attach it to the speakers collar.

But, this is optional.  You can also just sit a smartphone on the podium.

InMemorial TV Studio

We provide the studio for you.  All you do is join a zoom meeting with your phone and we take care of the rest in the studio.  We do the streaming to whatever destination you require whether your website, Facebook, Youtube or another Zoom meeting. We do the work.

    Smartphones

In the TV world, the more camera angles you have, the more interesting the movie is.  This also applies to live streams. Viewers stay engaged when the camera angles change.  The more smartphones you use, the more camera angles we can switch to throughout the service.  We recommend 3 smartphones for video and 1 for audio for a total of 4 smartphones.  The brand of smartphone does not matter.  Our CEO uses $20 phones he got from Metropcs.com on their group plan that costs $100 per month total for everything.  You can use almost any cell service carrier, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile or others works fine also.

You can use your own phones also but everything works better if you dedicate phones to streaming only.  Then there will not be texts or incoming calls that potentially interrupt the services.

    MetroPCS Smart Phones

Look for the $50 promotion plan.

Metro has great phones for reasonable prices.  Almost any phone will work. Choose whatever works for you and pair it with a basic plan since you won't be using these phones for anything but streaming.

    Boost Mobile

      Tripods

A hallmark of professional video is smooth and steady.  Just simple tripod for each phone is all it takes to deliver steady image quality for live streams. Here's a link for a tripod.  You should get one for each phone you use.

      Microphones

      The key to great sound

Great sound is one of the most important aspects of quality live streaming.  If people can't hear they tend to click the back button and go somewhere else.  Using a great wireless microphone to capture audio will turn your service into top-grade quality.  The Hollyland microphones are what we use in the studio when we want small, easy, quick, quality audio.  The Lark M2 Combo comes with everything you need to capture great audio during services.
