Born on May 18, 1931, in Nampa, Idaho, to Glynn Heath and Dorothy Della Michael, Della spent her early years in Oregon, where she graduated from Klamath High School in Klamath Falls. She was a proud member of the Pep Peppers Squad for the Pelicans and remained fond of those memories throughout her life.

In 1963, Bob and Della moved to Payette, Idaho, where they purchased Rosedale Memorial Gardens and later opened Chapel of the Roses Mortuary in both Payette and Ontario. For decades, they worked side by side—providing comfort, compassion, and care to families during their most difficult times.
