Jo Ann Breach

Jo Ann Breach (Baugh) passed away surrounded by family on August 4, 2024, in Nampa, Idaho. Jo Ann was born on January 9, 1936, in Hyrum, Utah, to Cyril and Lucy Baugh. Jo Ann was the third of five children, with two older brothers and two younger sisters.
Jo Ann grew up in Utah and Idaho, helping her parents around the home and farm as needed. She attended high school in Homedale, Idaho. It was there that she met and dated the love of her life, Harold Breach. Jo Ann married Harold on March 7, 1953, in Lovelock, Nevada, and then sealed their marriage and children for time and all eternity on June 11, 1963, in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Jo Ann’s life was characterized by her devotion to her family, faith, and friends. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren (her jewels) and did so many things to support them and be a part of their lives. Jo Ann served in many positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she served in leadership positions and received a special call to serve in the House of the Lord in the Boise Temple. She cherished her friends and loved her time with each of them.
Jo Ann is survived by her children and their spouses: Mike (Mary), Brad (Jackie), Kathy, and Laurie; her sisters Iveanne Kent and Lana (Lyman) Hanley; 18 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Breach, her brother Jack Baugh, her brother Paul Baugh, her granddaughter Brittany Grace Breach, and her grandson Justin Medellin.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 Midland Blvd., Nampa, Idaho. A viewing will take place at Zeyer Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Jo Ann’s legacy of love, faith, and friendship will continue to live on in the lives of those she touched. She will be deeply missed and remembered forever.
