Linda Jean Ringel Dalley, 75, passed away on June 12, 2026, at her home under the loving care of Brio Hospice.
Linda was born on December 23, 1950, to Roy and Roberta Ringel. She was born and raised in Driggs, Idaho, where she attended local schools and graduated from Teton High School. Following graduation, she attended beauty school and became a licensed beautician, beginning a career that would span more than five decades.
Marriage & Family
Linda married Francis “Blue” Dalley on August 16, 1971.
Upon their marriage, Linda lovingly became a mother to Blue’s three children, Damon, Angela, and Heidi. Together, Linda and Blue welcomed four more children into their family: Nick, Brian, Sandy, and Sara.
Family was always at the center of Linda’s life. She devoted herself to caring for her children, grandchildren, and extended family, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.
Career & Service
Linda and Blue made their home in Driggs, Idaho, until 1992, when they relocated to Arco, Idaho, for new opportunities.
Throughout her life, Linda operated beauty shops from her home in both Driggs and Arco. For more than 50 years, she served generations of clients from her beautician chair, building friendships and becoming a trusted part of countless lives in her communities.
Her kindness, listening ear, and welcoming personality made every appointment about more than just a haircut—it was about friendship and connection.
Hobbies & Interests
Linda enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies and interests. She loved gardening, landscaping, and maintaining a beautiful yard. She also enjoyed rock hunting and collecting, antique shopping, camping, fishing, genealogy, and exploring local history.
Most of all, Linda loved spending time with her family.
She was always ready for an adventure and was often the life of the party. Her enthusiasm for life, sense of humor, and ability to bring people together created countless cherished memories for those around her.
Linda was also a proud member of the VFW in Arco, supporting veterans and her local community.
Survivors
Linda is survived by her son, Nick (Jody) Dalley of Ucon, Idaho; her daughter, Sandy (Caleb) Maynard of Moore, Idaho; her siblings, Charlotte Vance (Moulten) and Brent Ringel; her sister-in-law, Lori Ringel; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who adored her.
Preceded in Death
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Blue” Dalley; her parents, Roy and Roberta Ringel; her son, Brian Dalley; her daughter, Sara Dalley Perkes; her brother, Logan Ringel; and her stepchildren, Angela Savage and Damon Dalley.
Acknowledgements
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Brio Hospice team, especially nurses Shannon, Sheila, Hailee, and CNA Katie, for the selfless love, compassion, and care they provided to Linda during her final days.
Funeral Services
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Arco, Idaho.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will follow at Driggs Cemetery in Driggs, Idaho.
