Life & Legacy
Julie May Thompson Bruderer, 84, passed peacefully in her sleep on October 21, 2025. She was a woman of warmth, creativity, and quiet devotion—dedicated to her family, friends, and her faith.

Julie was a gifted homemaker with a creative soul who found joy in serving others, beautifying her home, and nurturing the people she loved. Her faith and commitment to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were constants throughout her life.

Early Life
Julie was born on September 9, 1941, in Traverse City, Michigan, the third of four children born to Albert and Doris (Parker) Grewe. She spent her early years in Montana before moving to Nampa, Idaho, where she attended Nampa Christian High School.

Julie married Lloyd Thompson, and together they raised four sons. Later, she married Dennis Bruderer, with whom she shared 34 wonderful years before his passing.

Family
Julie is survived by her three living sons:
Tim Thompson (Tammi), Randy Thompson, and Rodney Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Erine Thompson (Charmaine), who passed away earlier this year after a sudden illness.

She is also survived by her stepchildren:
Dallas (Marcy), Dail (Pam), Trina (Mike), Michelle, and DeLyle (Shannon);
her siblings Thomas Grewe (Karen) and Berta Evans (Ted);
and many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Bruderer; her parents, Albert and Doris Grewe; and her sister, Rosanne Chelgren (Walt).

Faith & Character
Julie’s life reflected her faith. She served her church and family with love, humility, and strength. She found beauty in small things—whether it was through her creative pursuits, her home, or her compassionate heart. Those who knew her will remember her as steady, kind, and full of quiet grace.

Service Information
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
519 South 12th Avenue, Caldwell, Idaho 83605.

A viewing will precede the service from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the same location.
An additional viewing will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel in Nampa, Idaho.

Graveside services will take place on Monday, November 3, 2025, in Logan, Utah.

Legacy
Julie’s life was a testament to enduring love, creative spirit, and steadfast faith. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of service, strength, and family devotion. Her example will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
