Early Life
Jenny Mae Barrett, 53, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, in Nampa, Idaho. She was born on January 13, 1972, to Richard and Artelle Dick in Sun Valley, Idaho. Jenny was the fourth child in the family, joining her brothers Steve, Stan, and Ken.

She grew up in Rupert, Idaho, where she graduated from Minico High School in 1990. In her youth, Jenny loved being outdoors, spending time with her brothers—who were the center of her world—and sharing countless adventures with her best friend, Gwen.

Spirit & Education
Jenny was a country girl at heart—spirited, fearless, and tough as nails. After graduation, she moved to Boise, Idaho, and attended Boise State University, studying marketing for a short time before realizing her true passion was photography. Her creative eye and natural curiosity allowed her to see beauty in everything and everyone around her.

Marriage & Family
In December 1993, Jenny met the love of her life, Joe Barrett, at a community Christmas party. From that moment, the two were inseparable. Their love was undeniable—a reminder that true soulmates do exist.

Jenny and Joe were married on June 21, 1996, in Caldwell, Idaho, by the justice of the peace. Their honeymoon in Cancún, Mexico marked the beginning of a lifetime of adventure. Together, they traveled the world, building memories filled with laughter, spontaneity, and deep affection.

In 2001, their greatest adventure began when they welcomed their son, Caleb, into the world. Jenny was a devoted and fiercely loving mother, supporting Caleb in every pursuit—from Little League baseball to his current aviation career.

A Life of Joy & Light
As a family, the Barretts found joy in the backwoods of Idaho—camping, riding motorcycles, and laughing until their stomachs hurt. Jenny’s laughter was contagious, her energy magnetic, and her presence had the power to brighten any room she entered.

Her light will forever be missed but never forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and adventure—a life lived to the fullest, surrounded by the people and animals she cherished.
