Lonnie Jack Woodbridge, 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Arco, Idaho, on July 29, 2025.
He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on November 16, 1957, to Jack Woodbridge and Norma Davis Woodbridge. He was welcomed by two older sisters, Karen and Debbie. After his parents divorced, his mother remarried, and Lonnie gained two younger sisters, Carla and Donna.
Lonnie spent his youth growing up on the Big Bend, fishing the Lost River in his backyard and getting into mischief with his lifelong friend, Jerry Carpenter. His teenage years took him between Arco and Kemmerer, and during high school he excelled in football and basketball. In 1975, he was honored to be selected for the Wyoming Shrine Bowl.
On October 8, 1977, Lonnie married Billee Jean Mower in Kemmerer, Wyoming. Together they lived in Blackfoot and Idaho Falls before settling in Arco, where Lonnie felt most at home. They were blessed with three children: Danthanee, Kellen, and Dalton, along with a daughter-in-law, Kande, and two granddaughters, Kazpyr and Kaylee.
Throughout his life, Lonnie held a variety of jobs including positions at INL (which he admittedly hated), City of Arco Maintenance Supervisor, V1 Propane, plumbing work in Sun Valley and Butte County. But his favorite role was farming with Doug Schureman.
He was truly a jack of all trades and “one hell of a mechanic.” His hobbies included bowling, shooting pool, playing darts, golfing, hunting, and steelhead fishing. He also served as a volunteer fireman for many years. Through work and hobbies, Lonnie forged countless lifelong friendships.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Woodbridge; mother, Norma McCracken; sisters, Terry Lyn and Carla; in-laws, Bill & Shirley Mower; sister-in-law, Pam; nephew, Mathew Pellerin; and sister-in-law, Christy Cook.
Lonnie is survived by his beloved wife of almost 48 years, Billee; his children: Danthanee, Kellen (Kande), and Dalton; granddaughters: Kazpyr and Kaylee; sisters: Karen Cook, Debbie (Dave) Welchert, and Donna (Kyle) Kerstetter; in-laws: Bobbee & Eric Rudy, John & Carol Mower, Larry Cook; and too many lifelong friends to list.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Butte High School Auditorium, 120 N. Water Street, Arco, ID. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson Family Funeral Home.
