Gladys Rose Maucher Webb passed away peacefully at 6:40 p.m. on July 17, 2025, in her Boise, Idaho, home of 25 years—just as she wished—at the age of 73.

Gladys grew up moving frequently due to her father's work. In her teenage years, the family settled in Salt Lake City, where she attended South High School. During her junior year, she met Michael Scott Webb, and the two fell in love. They were married shortly after graduation, on April 13, 1971, beginning a union that would last 54 years.

As the devoted spouse of a U.S. Army service member, Gladys lived in many places around the world, including three tours in Germany—her favorite destination besides home. She often said, “Home is where your heart is,” and after a life of travel, she and Michael made Boise their final home.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gladys dedicated countless hours to genealogy and family history research—a lifelong passion. She also had a creative soul and found joy in arts and crafts, especially crocheting. Her favorite season was Christmas, and she lovingly handmade ornaments for her children and grandchildren each year—treasured gifts that continue to bring joy.

Gladys loved music, especially when performed by her husband, children, and grandchildren. She delighted in their talents and was deeply proud of their accomplishments. Her life was rooted in service and love, as a homemaker, scout leader, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend.

Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, Stella LaRee Brown Maucher and Paul Maucher; her brother, Charles Maucher; and two grandchildren, Michaela Criswell and Chad Bollman.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael S. Webb; her children:
Stephanie Ader (Randy),
Johnathan Webb (Jill Padilla),
Kenneth Webb (Kevyn Ewton),
Nathaniel Webb (Melissa Sharon), and
Melinda Bollman (Robert);
her siblings: Jolene Mitchell and Roy Maucher;
as well as many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Gladys leaves behind a legacy of faith, creativity, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
